Here's a bit of pre-Beatles pop from the summer of '62.
Two Jackie DeShannon records were to become important parts of the English Invasion when they were covered by The Searchers: "Needles & Pins" and "When You Walk In The Room". This earlier song was not so popular in England but it was recorded by Sandie Shaw on her first LP.
