Sorry (I Ran All The Way Home)

I first ran across this tune when I was downloading some Del Shannon songs from eMusic. Turns out this was a cover of a song by The Impalas from Brooklyn. The Impalas had had a hit with this one in 1959 when songwriter Harry Giosasi (of Gino & Gina fame) heard them sing and offered them the song. The record was then produced and arranged by Leroy Holmes. It was released on Cub records and made it to #2 on the charts. That means I probably heard this song when I was 7 years old - that's why there was something familiar about that Del Shannon song.
On the video we have the British version by The Royal Showband Waterford whom I'll assume are from Waterford.

That was a great record. It's one of my favorites.
